Seton Construction will be continuing the work on installing water lines and the joint utility trench.
The City of Port Townsend Water Department and Seton Construction will be conducting a water shutoff on Tuesday, January 31st from 6:00pm – 12:00am. This will only affect four businesses all after business hours and will not affect any residential homes.
Demo of Howard Street North of the Car Wash driveway up through S Park Ave. has been completed. The installation of stormwater pipe and catch basins has begun in that area and will continue to the 27th.
*The Car Wash and Re/Max Building are still open and can be accessed by their driveway like normal.
*The driveway off Howard Street to Goodwill is currently closed and access to Goodwill will be off S Park Ave. in the Business Park.
*All businesses located in the Business Park can be accessed off Cliff St.
Seton Construction will be starting the demo of Howard Street North of the Car Wash driveway to 6th Street West of the First American Title driveway for utility installation.
Starting Tuesday, January 10th Howard Street just after the Car Wash driveway going North to 6th Street West of the First American Title driveway will be closed for utility installation until April 3rd.
Seton Construction will start the week by installing signage on Sims Way and traffic control barriers in preparation of work being done at Howard Street and 6th Street. They will then begin to demo asphalt & sidewalks. Once demo is complete they will then start working on the stormwater.
